BHM Regional Library is a cornerstone of the communities we serve in Beaufort, Hyde, and Martin counties. Welcome to BHM Regional Library, a proud member of NC Cardinal! We’re delighted you’re exploring our collection. Feel free to take home books for up to three weeks—you can even renew them once if no one else is waiting. Magazines and DVDs are yours to enjoy for one week, while audiobooks also have a comfy three-week stay. Happy reading and watching!

Take advantage of BHM Regional Library’s high-speed fiber internet and newly upgraded computers. Whether you’re on one of our computers or your own device, free WiFi and printer access are available. Please adhere to our Internet Safety Policy for a responsible and secure browsing experience.

Discover a world of knowledge at BHM Regional Library. Our collections span from bestsellers to classics in print, audio, and digital formats. We also offer a variety of in-house reference materials for local information. Whether you’re placing holds, renewing items, or diving into local history, there’s something for everyone.

Experience more than just books with a visit to the BHM Regional Library Headquarters, located in the historic old courthouse in Washington, NC. This landmark building built in 1786 not only houses our expansive collections but also serves as a gateway to local history. Group visits are welcome and can be arranged by contacting our Director at (252) 946-6401.

Need to print or make copies? BHM Regional Library has got you covered. Our printers and copiers are available for public use. Black & white copies are just 15 cents per page, and where available, color copies are 30 cents per page.
