The Beaufort, Hyde, Martin Regional Library system, headquartered in Washington, has received a grant from Duke Energy to support its annual Summer Reading Program. Duke Energy Progress District Manager Millie Chalk presented a $3,000 check to Amanda Corbett, Library director, on April 17th.
Children explore blue sensory bins at the BHM Library’s station at the Beaufort/Hyde Partnership for Children’s Paint the Town’s Blue’s Annual Parade and Festival.
KidsFest provides an opportunity for parents & caregivers of young children to connect with resources and information in a fun and interactive environment. Hosted each Spring, KidsFest averages an attendance of 3,000 parents and children, and nearly 60 businesses and organizations.
