Local children’s author of Mommy’s Big Red Monster Truck, Alison Paul Klakowicz, recently visited BHM Regional Library Headquarters in Washington for a book reading and meet and greet. Approximately 30 attendees enjoyed story time and a monster truck craft. Mayor Sadler and Mayor pro temps Brooks were also in attendance.
Alison Paul Klakowicz is a native of Beaufort County. While she has spent the better part of the last 20 years traveling with her husband who is in the military, she and her family recently moved back to Beaufort County and now reside in Bath. Alison is also an English teacher at Washington High School.
Mrs. Klakowicz has authored two more books in the Mommy’s Big Red Monster Truck series and BHM Regional Library will be honored to have her come back and read those books with our patrons.
